You can always use archive.org as a permanent online storage. Content
is ussually published under a Creative Commons license there, but I'm
not sure if that is a requirement or not.
Check out
http://www.ourmedia.org/ if you plan on going down that
road, it allows easier ways of getting your files on archive.org
