change of schedule (originally supposed to be on last night) but now this
saturday with last minute addition of Amen Andrews.

A reminder of this weekends ADAADAT action!!
VEINS AND BRAINS - BJORN AID #1
ADAADAT founder and guiding light Bjorn Hatleskog, aka ROMVELOPE was
recently cruelly stricken by illness. In a heartwarming display of concern,
ADAADAT artists and friends gather round this Saturday, bringing musical
offerings to the god of wellness in an attempt to speed Mr. Hatleskog's
return to rude health. Also to raise money for the many bunches of grapes,
crossword puzzle magazines and tins of quality street required by Bjorn
during his convalescence. This touching and spontaneous outpouring of
support takes place at Barden's Boudoir, 38-44 Stoke Newington Road, London
on the 19th. Well-wishers will be treated to sets by ADAADAT artists OMMM,
DJ SCOTCH EGG and ATOM TRUCK, plus the newest addition to the ADAADAT
roster, SCISSORS (hand-picked from the ranks of clones and wannabes by
ADAADAT's impeccable A&R dept.), PLUS sk records' own DURACELL (see above),
NED and CHEWBACCA playing live, and DJ sets from masters of the obscure JIM
BACKHOUSE (aka the HI-FI SADIST) and Seed Records' BRUCE MCCLURE. God
willing, ROMVELOPE himself will rise from his sick bed and bring on the
electropop beatdown in a life affirming display of the power of the human
spirit. There may even be some mysterious SPECIAL GUESTS present. Surely
four pounds is a reasonable donation in exchange for the glowing warmth the
night will bring?
