just wanted to recommend the new populous album 'queue for love' and the new books album 'lost and safe'. haven't had a chance for them to completely sink in, but so far these are beautiful albums. so check'em out if you get the chance. if you're familiar with these artists...the new albums aren't much different. 'queue for love' has a great track with dose one. 'lost and safe' is just awesome, the books' best imo. ak

Cool. I didn't even realize the new Books was out. Better than Thought for Food? That's a pretty tall order. Can't wait to hear it. New Venetian Snares is also out. Damn. REALLY good stuff. Nice mix of live strings (I read he plays violin on some of the tracks?) and other orchestration with the madness that you'd come to expect from him. It's still a completely different feel from "Huge Chome Cylinder Box" and really any of his other stuff. It has some of the Amen madness of Chocolate Wheelchair, but the mood here is definitely somber. I'm just glad that Planet Mu is being distributed through Revolver now so that I can get caught up on some of the releases that never made it over here when they first came out.
