same here, people not into electronic music will understand a sentence
like "I listen to electronica mainly", instead of "I listen to
breakcore"
besides, there are way too many subgenres around in most styles
anyway, so much that you get these idiot discussions where people
argue if a certain track is either techstep or technoid, or maybe
neurofunk, or...
