hi thor hi list, thanks for your compilation... as almost never downloading music this came very handy, and the vibes very much appreciated, well done... reminding me for instance of the early stuff on karaoke kalk, a german label worth having a look at... i'd like to suggest 1 more easily done compilation, musicians choice and to me of warmth and depth well compensating for the dark and cold season... i propose a set of music that came to life at my tiny 8sq.meters space, to be found at http://pathmusick.hermetech.net/ , you can easily lift the 5 ep-s with my music (kindly selected by a. cortex & decadnids for the site..) and figure it out for yourself ;-)) please also do consider browsing the variety of music there by all the other artist / friends... be cozy, from köln, best, elmar now playing: source records (de) - promos @ besonic.com (site down though...) domenico di clario - shaker road: quit existing (nonplace) morton feldman - piano & string quartet 1985 (nonsuch) david sylvian - dead bees on a cake the blue nile - peace at last. coming soon: burnt friedman with d. sylvian... ********************************************************* ** * ** --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

Hello! So I finally have my old mailing list back! I moved to Berlin in April of last year, and am now just collecting my things back from the ol USA, including my ol computer (with these addresses on it!). So WOW, so much has happened! I redesigned the Cock Rock Disco website about 6 weeks ago, and we are close to unveiling a new webstore with T-shirts, Mp3's and CD's! Check it: www.cockrockdisco.com Also, in full effect, is our newish Webforum! So GO POST THERE NOW! AH! But best of all, I am proud to tell you about the release of Cock Rock Disco 001! "Very Pleasure," by Philadelphia's own Duran Duran Duran! I can tell you it is easily the greatest album of all time. Next up is Terminal 11 (Feb), then Doormouse in March! WOW! I expect CRD to be pumping CD's out quite regularly from now on, so stay tuned! We'll all play an album release party on Jan 6th, 2005 at the Knitting Factory in NYC, with new CRD artists Food For Animals, and also our chums END, and Dev/Null. If you are in NYC, you HAVE TO BE THERE! Also, while I am at it, I should tell you about the great new T-shirt Subscription project that is going on. Basically the idea is this: you pay us some cash up front (like 60-70 bucks) and you get 1 amazingly designed T-shirt every 2 months... The First design is up here: http://www.cockrockdisco.com/CRD2/Tshirts/Tshirt1.html If you are interested, send me an email soon!! As for me, Jason Forrest, I am overjoyed to say that the response to my last album ("...Post Disco Crash") was overwhelming ... with tons of great reviews, magazine articles, and of course, many many many shows all over EU during the past few months. Yes, I will do a USA tour, but am having a bit of difficulty getting it organized. But it WILL happen in 2005! I will also hopefully return to Japan in 2005 as well. I've been a busy boy lately as well (in retrospect, I don't know where I found teh time!), and am quite close to finishing my new album for next summer. I don't have the title just yet, but it's getting close, and I think I can say that this might be the best thing I have done yet! Expect to get slapped up side the face by some R>O>C>K!!!! HA! It will again be on Sonig, with an EP in April or May sometime... (4-5 tracks, maybe an extra track on the 12" EP too) so there will certainly be stuff to find by me in the coming months ... also a split 12" in Australia with Melt Banana! AH! And what about that amazing music video? Holy shit! The video was AMAZING! It is off-line at the moment (sorry), but it will be posted up again soon. Director is Jon Watts, and somehow after doing the "Stepping Off" video he became one of the most sought after music video directors in the world, even scoring the most prodigious job of working on the latest Fat Boy Slim video of "the Joker".... Whoa... You can still catch it headlining up a night called "Videos that ROCK" at Resfest(.com), and can catch it on the remoteDVD and the Spex free DVD from last May. But new videos are being made now, and are inching towards completion already. Next year expect 2 videos for the new album, plus a whole bunch more of cool video insanity! -- "Wait? With all this great video work being done, aren't you going to make up a DVD so we can see them all?" HELL YES! And a concert FILM is in the making as well in the spring! AH!!!! So look for the JF/DS DVD in the fall of 2005, on Cock Rock Disco.... Oh yeah, the Advanced D&D show is back up and rocking again, now a 1-hour drive time show on WFMU 6-7 Pm every Thursday night! Check it: www.wfmu.org/donnasummer OK! Thanks for reading, sorry to be gone so long, but thanks for everything and don't forget to keep in touch! Best! Jason Forrest/ Donnasummer Ps-new email for me too: cockrockdisco@gmail.com Please update! --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
