A night of live performances and a special dj set by an eclectic group
of internationally renowned musicians. Live performances by Khonnor
(with Rodomontade) and his buffer overflow pop, RJ Valeo works the
glitch dub angle, Goldmund haunts sublime piano works and Praveen
coalesces ambient and melodic counterpoint compositions. The artists
performing were brought together by modern technology and some legacy
chat software.

The entrance to The Tank is through the courtyard - follow the signs
directing you on the street-side window.

Praveen melds recordings of his own drumming and piano playing with
subtle, glitchy beats and found sound. This night Praveen will be
performing selections from his upcoming release Backed By Spirits (Neo
Ouija Dec 2004) with post-album experiments and his own brand of
minimal techno.

Always having some sort of musical instrument in his hands growing up,
making music always seemed natural and instinctive to 23-year-old Keith
Kenniff (aka helios, aka goldmund) . Although having an affinity for
jazz and classical music as well as electronic music Keith refuses to
fit into any particular mold, citing influences ranging from the carter
family to minor threat. Having left his rural Pennsylvania upbringing,
Keith is currently finishing up his degree at Berklee College of Music
in Boston Massachusetts.

RJ Valeo aka Transelectronic Theory is equal parts sound
designer/producer, coffee junkie, and sonic commando. With releases on
labels including Type Records, Hobby Industries, and his own imprint io
records, his musical styles encompass dubby hip-hop influenced
glitchtronica to musique concrète and post microsound experimental
rhythm drone. Genre titles aside, his performances are always
memorable.

At 18, Connor Kirby-Long is Type Record's youngest artist. Connor is
already crafting some of the most beautiful electro-acoustic pop music
this side of the Atlantic. Equal parts Smiths style melancholy
sentimental and Fennesz/Mego noise, he is an artist that is taking the
electro-indie scene by storm and making a good name for himself.

Michael Venezia is one of the founding members of burgeoning
post/indie rock band In Loving Memory. In his former life Michael had a
number of successful 12-inch releases on the UK's Auk Recordings.
Tonight he presents an eclectic mix of bent house, indie (post) rock,
and experimental glitchtronica. Early next year he and long time
collaborator and close friend RJ Valeo are scheduled to release an EP
on Type records together as Carbon Framework.
