What I love about Pierre Kwenders is the deliberately tracky nature of his
tracks. He uses the sounds that are familiar techno sounds, but the
combination of his voice with the loopy synths bring in all sorts of
influences: Chicago House, Detroit Techno, African pop.
His rhytmic spoken word parts reminds me of Dave & Ansel Collins, who
brought a unique vocal sound to reggae.
