BIO:Founder and proprietor of the BPITCHCONTROL juggernaut, ELLEN ALLIEN
gave birth to her network to cultivate and promote creative potential.
Staunch in her support for her hometown of Berlin, her 2001 debut
"Stadtkind" was a dedication to the city which not only stirred attention
towards her own musical talents, but also brought attention to the structure
of her label in the context of electronic music in Germany and Berlin. With
the onset of numerous BPitch Control label parties, she presents herself
anew each time within the collective. Her latest release, "Berlinette", also
takes up Berlin as a theme while incorporating her experiences over the past
years. As always, she is keen on new developments, gracing her next album
with further mental experimentation.

BIO:Originally from Chicago, Kate Simko spent time in the electronic hotbed
of Santiago, Chile (which has called itself home to the likes of Miss Dinky,
Uwe Schmidt aka Atom Heart/Senor Coconut, and Ricardo Villalobos). There she
worked with Andres Bucci under the Detalles moniker, releasing their record
"Shapes of Summer" on TRAUM Records from Germany, as well as releasing
material on Chicago's own ANTENNA INC.
