MIC MELL ::

Mic Mell has been experimenting with different styles
of music for over ten years. Having gigged with bands spanning
rock, latin, reggae, funk, jazz, hip hop, and electronic of all styles
(to name a few), he has spent the last few years trying to fuse the
many sounds and feels of live music with the glitches and clicks of
the digital realm. Always involved with a variety of musical projects,
Mic strives to create music that is not easily pigeonholed by genre,
but always stays true to a danceable nature. Mic Mell has toured
with Machinedrum, Team Shadetek, and r_garcia, and has opened
for o9, L'usine ICL, Julian Marley, Accellera Deck, and others. He
has played shows across the US, including at the Knitting Factory
in NYC, MJQ in Atlanta, the Sonic Circuits Festival in D.C., and was
a featured artist for the 2004 Florida Music Festival.
TRACE ELEMENT ::

An emotional journey of electronic textures, angular electro rhythms,
cinematic strings, and deep melodies, Trace Element is an electro-cinematic
group of live instruments and live computer generated beats and
melodies. The foundation of Trace Element is an electronic bed of
electro beats and sonic textures that tickle the ears and fondles the
heart. Rising out of the modern tones is the ancient sound of the violin
taking you back to the roots of melody. Cutting through with power,
live percussion and live bass maintain the drive of many of the songs.
Through these instruments and electronic methods, Trace Element live
show remains 'live', performed by a core of two: Producer/Percussion/
Bass Henry Hsiao and Producer/Violinist Laura Escude. Trace Element
will sweep you away with beauty, passion, and mayhem; it is a show
like no other.
