a few things i picked up that were nice...
narita label, a new merck offshoot, put out a couple 12"s from adam johnson and [A]pendics Shuffle
very nice idm-friendly melodic dubby techno. i liked these alot.
in the total opposite direction, doormouse put out a couple new 12"s on
his distort label that both slay (7 & 8). they are alot more hardcore than
the more abstract direction he went with mu and some of the other more
recent records, although he does use some more advanced techniques.
its hard to describe, but these are just good hard tracks...some of them
i recognized from his live sets over the past year.
also for full on assaults, the new Passenger of Shit 12" on System Corrupt
is awesome. just noisey, spazzy, nasty goodness.
