You can look it up on other sites but I prefer bandcamp: https://seefeel.bandcamp.com/album/rupt-and-flex-1994-96-1 (link to all the platforms: https://warp.ffm.to/rupt-flex) Since this is 2021 and Seefeel's heyday was before some IDM list subscribers were born, here's why this is important. For me personally, the AFX remixes on "Pure,Impure" were the gateway drug to what's currently known as IDM. Generally though, Seefeel had a completely fresh take on rock music. They were nominally part of the Creation Records shoegazer thing, along with My Bloody Valentine, but they were well out beyond MBV in terms of sound. It's hard to even describe how fresh this sounded at the time: A weird mismatch of post-rock, isolationist ambient and dub, they also had really good songs and a unique approach to structure and repetition.

I wholeheartedly second this recommendation! It’s rare, I mean RARE that I get excited about new releases these days, but this recommendation is spot on. Dave

Seefeel ‎– Succour was big for me. I discovered it during the height of dubstep and it has that same weight, space and hypnotic quality, albeit with a spacey sweetness. Definitely pitched those tracks alot around to mix with DMZ and Hotflush bits back then. I'm way overdue to check out the rest of the albums. Interesting - the packaging of the slipcase and wallets is very similar to the Autechre EPs 1991-2002 set that came out years ago. I'm glad to see CD releases are still being made. On Fri, Apr 9, 2021 at 2:29 PM Dave at EAR/Rational Music < ear.rational@gmail.com> wrote:

Every single record they have put out is worth a listen. Massively underappreciated in my opinion. Been bumping airless on repeat way to long.
