Went to the show here in LA Saturday night. Musically speaking nobody really stood out, but I enjoyed Phthalocyanine, some of Dntel, Libythyth. Didn't stay for 8 Frozen Modules or Edit, but the highlight of the evening was Terminal 11 going insane. Bout 3/4 through his set, I saw him pounding his fist on the table, but it was perfectly in time with the music, so I thought he was just digging his own sounds. Shortly after that though, he set the laptop on auto-pilot and exited stage left with a pretty juice gash over his knuckles. As the computer finished the last 10 minutes of the set, he cleaned the blood off the floor and his hand and wrapped it in a towel. As soon as the computer's audio played out, he returned to the stage, graciously accepted the applause, proceeded to unplug the cables from the computer and promptly threw the thing with great force to the ground, smashing it into a million pieces. He then stomped on what was left of the monitor. All that and it was his birthday, too. I thought it was a good set- sounded fine to me. I guess he thought differently.
