HOLOGRAM wed.may.5 @ la tazza 108 chestnut phila pa. 10-2, 21+ ILLOIN (fka Vertebrae) > http://www.collisioncollider.com/illoin Illoin's recently released debut cd (Notenuf) was actually recorded and put out two years back as by Vertebrae, the two-piece idm / live accordian & drums outfit whose stuff felt all wintry and mostly low-key and made them of the more interesting new Philly bands to dig into. Well Illoin is the new word to go by, as Andrew is rolling somewhat differently now. He actually booked a cross-country tour as the two-piece a little over a year ago and ended up doing the tour as a one-piece. So he's got perseverance and has worked some new shit out lately. Solo at Holog? I dunno. Possibly, probably?... I dunno. LUCKY GLASSES A new Philly band I guess that Andrew of Illoin had played with recently and was like, "Yo, gotta get them to play Hologram". So he sent over this: > > Three computers, upright bass, guitar, answering machine tapes and pure > > data. They look like they don't know what they are doing but it sounded >so > > good. So I'm trusting his taste on this one. CHARLES COHEN / EVAN LIPSON / JOE LENTINI http://www.voicenet.com/~ccohen Evan Lipson (electric bass/devices) Joe Lentini (laptop/Max/MSP/processing) Charles Cohen (Buchla Music Easel) DJ NIKU downtempo, experimental and chillout tbtmo.com fuzzybox.com chill out. thx --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
