so, even though this is not a pure IDM night...and yes i understand
IDM is not a genre, just a mailing list...it seems more than one
person involved is claiming to spin something in this arena. myself
being one of them (hey, it's short enough to fit on a flyer). btw, i
did not say "dambient", that was the promoter who added that,
probably because of my involvement in a dark ambient project which my
co-creator dubbed "damnbient" in a humorous attempt to distinguish
what we did from people like lustmord and steve roach. i actually
plan to mix things up a lot, so you may hear kid606 one minute and my
bloody valentine the next.
so anyone in the brooklyn nyc area this saturday may want to come
down, particularly those who a few months back were asking about
"non-positive IDM".
