http://www.davidkristian.com/default.htm This month's mp3 is David's remix of Lee Hazlewood and Nancy Sinatra's Some Velvet Morning , remodeled with a touch of Tangerine Dream. "And let me tell you about Phaedra, and how she gave me life." - Lee Hazlewood The original Lee & Nancy song was released in 1967, the year of David's birth; Tangerine Dream released Phaedra in 1974, the same year Klaus Schulze released Blackdance, an album which featured a song called Some Velvet Phasing. David decided he'd add to the in-joke, and at the same time, pay homage to some of his biggest influences. S. Apologies in advanced if this isn't exactly the list for this (and if it isn't, I'd appreciate any leads on where to search.) I'm trying to identify the tunes heard at these addresses. mms://wm9.bur.synccast.com/dmx/channels/GROOVE.wma mms://wm9.bur.synccast.com/dmx/channels/rivdisco.wma I've also got alot of tapes and clips from different songs of all genres and wondered if there were good websites for this? One of my major curiousities is two tapes I have of a now defunct cable radio channel called The Trend which had alot of IDM type music on there but I have no idea what the songs are on the tapes. Anyone have helpful suggestions? Many thanks, Luke --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
