If I'm not mistaken, Slim is the founder of Kill Rock Stars and
5 Rue Christine, two fairly well respected underground music labels.
Ever heard of Sleater-Kinney, Bikini Kill, Deerhoof, Xiu Xiu?
All mostly in the "indie rock" category, but, hey, Xiu Xiu is being
distributed by Tomlab in Europe.
