I really can't tell if he's making some snarky comment about people
downloading the album pre-release or not. For what it's worth, I
actually *did* buy the single from the iTunes store and thought it was
decent. I'll reserve full judgement for the album, which I'll try to
listen to in full before buying. I'd like to think I'm part of the
silent minority that didn't yet voice an opinion, but hey...
I really don't know where the shots at bleep are coming from, though.
Sure, AAC is great for smaller downloads, but you're not going to beat
bleep's 256kbit mp3s. I'd like to think the licensing permits artists to
sell via both bleep and the iTMS (like I mentioned a while ago), but I
could be wrong.
Are there any actual reviews of the album anywhere yet? I'll try to
track it down locally in the next week or so.
