I don't know but I paid for hab1&2. My friend who owns them previously sent me a lossless version that he ripped from his viynl. The ones from the warp site sound way better, I was impressed. ----- Original Message ----- From: qwerty <miro.merlak@vip.hr> Date: Monday, January 19, 2004 7:12 am Subject: [idm] bleep - vinyl only releases?

A wild guess: They have the master copy (on dat/cd/pc)? --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

I think they state that in the FAQ. Sometimes even off master tapes! In that case, it likely sounds a lot better than your average record player recording, simply because you don't get that extra pass of reproduction to worry about. Pretty bad though that all these people are going to be saying "wow, this sounds so much better than the vinyl!" I smell a flamewar ;D -- eggytoast.com : eggtastic.com --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
