i have to give props where they are due. (even though he's a local pittsburgher) Xanopticon's debut full length, "Liminal Space" is out now on Hymen, and it crushes. for fans of advanced, dense, hard sounds, this is an amazing album. its mostly about complex, tight abstract breakbeat assaults with textured dark atmospheres and brief glitched interludes, before you go back to intense drumwork. if you cross venetian snares and richard devine, you're pretty close. highly recommended. - cutups

I totally agree with cutups on this one.. i've just dropped this disc in the player today and it baffled my brain. I'll have more input/feedback once i digest this Hymen gem.
