Yea... that would be the Electro Lounge compilation. There was a volume 2 that wasn't really as good as the first. The real winner on Electro Lounge vol. 1 was The Rip Off Artist's remix of Dean Martin doing Sway. That track is amazing. I think they actually used part of that remix in that movie Sexy Beast (awesome movie) from a couple years back. Caravan is definitely a great loungey standard. I'm partial to a version of it by Piero Umiliani (on Musica Elettronica) where the band takes it through a bunch of different genres over the course of the track. There is also a pretty cool version on an old Jimi Tenor album, but like the version on Electro Lounge (also cool), it shies away from incorporating the B section of the song. -Aaron ----- Original Message ----- From: skism <cazeone@ramdis.com> Date: Wednesday, November 12, 2003 3:08 pm Subject: RE: [idm] re: loungey idm

IIRC, that mix actually combined sections of Dean Martin's version with a version by a female vocalist (Julie London, I think), but did it in such a way that it was completely seamless. It's one of my favourite tracks on that collection as well.
