I guess "dd", "sed", "tr", "sort" and "emacs"[1] (ordered ascendingly by
their sheer destructive power when used on binary data) should be your
friends... :)
(Hey, OSX *IS* BSD based, after all - why not make use of it's command
line and UNIXy tools while you're at it? ;)
