i'm wondering... is there a program of some sort that can intentionally corrupt video data (removal of keyframes, shuffling of video stream/frame order)??? sometimes i've watched incomplete (bittorrent) .avi files & they create the most interesting visual effects when parts of the data are missing. is there some way to do this intentionally? I know jitter can be used to do something like this, but cycling74 software confuses the hell out of me. can anybody recommend some applications or processes I might be able to run in other video programs, like final cut pro? maybe there's some sort of effect package for fcp that's like the old kpt photoshop filters? thanks in advance, -wil m. ===== _________________ _________________ nao/music: http://www.mp3.com/naoko nao/blog: http://speakerslayer.livejournal.com __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? I guess "dd", "sed", "tr", "sort" and "emacs"[1] (ordered ascendingly by their sheer destructive power when used on binary data) should be your friends... :) (Hey, OSX *IS* BSD based, after all - why not make use of it's command line and UNIXy tools while you're at it? ;) [1] Not that I've ever used it - <insert vi vs. emacs flamewar NOT here> :P -- Kurt Bernhard Pruenner --- Haendelstrasse 17 --- 4020 Linz --- Austria .......It might be written "Mindfuck", but it's spelt "L-A-I-N"....... np: Plaid - Dial P (Dial P) --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
