you know, i even enjoyed nitzer ebb and front line assembly back
in 1992. NE was 2 guys standing up beating electronic pads,
presequenced (or recorded, who knows) backing, and doug
mccarthy in bike shorts stalking the stage like a maniac. it was
thoroughly enjoyable. FLA was 1 or 2 guys behind keyboards, plus
bill leeb and his spiky hair out front. they were all in silhouette, but
they had a 16-screen videowall hanging behind them. it was a
great atmosphere.
how much was "live"? no idea. i'm not going to split hairs about it
since they obviously tried to do something and for me it worked.
