Thad, Don't know if someone mentioned it, but Electronicat's new album on Disko B is good glam-step techno rock. From our side, you may like Midwest Product, who are a live/electronic group (mp3s on the site - ghostly.com) or Dykehouse, whose new album, 'Midrange' comes out next year, and is completely rock-oriented. More rock than idm, but certainly worth checking out (especially if you haven't heard them in a while) is the latest cd from Young Gods- Second Nature. It's as good as anything they've done in the past. New drummer, but still a three piece- vocals, drums and synth/samples and really quite heavy on the electronics. www.younggods.com for info and sounds.

agreed, kill memory crash is the best non-industrial, industrial'esque music i've heard in awhile...also, if you haven't seen midwest product live, they are highly recommended! did a gig with them in ann arbor last year, for the second part of the show they switched to doing electro-rock covers of prince songs...matt dykehouse on lead vox...off the hook. hearts of darkness on schematic is good shite too. Midwest Product are SHIT HOT, they bring it in droves. My only complaint about their set at SXSW 03 was that it was at the exact same time as Octopus Project, another rocking IDM band. See http://www.theoctopusproject.com or http://www.peekaboorecords.com for more info on them. --- Household Names - one reason why tax day this year won't suck. New EP - "Hold On Tight!"
