If you are talking about the Squarepusher show in SF this Wednesday and you ordered the tickets from blasthaus.com then they should be waiting for you at will-call. -- Shimone/Justes http://www.staticbeats.com > Electronic Music > Digital Culture http://www.boomboombap.com > First Come > First Heard Jason Cole said:

I keep seeing good reviews for David Jack. I know he is involved with Mogwai in some respect. Is he an sound engineer or producer? Has anyone heard either of his albums? Recommended?? DAVID JACK - WITHOUT VOCABULARY CD Mixing soundtrack-like music with hip hop beats and scratches this sample laden album is a downtempo music gem. Fans of his first album "TEXTURE FREAK" will not be disappointed. Turntable antics are by scratch dj's Dj Extra/The Brain from the Penpushers and newcomer Dj Edit. The album also feats MOGWAI's STUART BRAITHWAITE (who uses the sequencer on his gameboy!). One of UK radio deejay/legend JOHN PEEL's faves (and one of ours too!). Q MAG called his first CD "stunning".The sound of "WITHOUT VOCABULARY" is built around his love of sample based hip-hop beats and turn table antics. David Jack is a master at fusing broken funky drummer beats with Hammond licks, strings and tidy scratching to create neck-snapping tunes and creepy spy breaks. __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
