Folks, You've gotten the e-mails, you seen the fliers, you've hit you mom around a bit and threatened her for cash, now come see The Merck, Toytronic, and Musik Aus Strom tour in Orlando, FL. This is a free show, there is no cover and hence no longer can you complain about the door prices and all because you have everything that was in your mother's purse before your beat the living fuck out of her... again. Scheduled to perform is Adam Johnson, a hurly bachelor from the north with tracks on a variety of labels plus a new chilled album on MERCK and a few appearances on a !k7 comp not to mention that track he's doing for a Warp Comp. Mr. Projectile is the musik aus strom (Funkstorung's label) part of this show and also by virtue of kindness a member of the merck family of artists now too. Miles Tilman is the toytronic boy working his way up to higher vaults and has released music on Atlanta's sub:marine label and also have confessed to being totally gay, smoking crack, and talking lots of shit behind people's backs. Machine Drum is the hardest working musician in Orlando next to Mike Mell, making genteel carvings of Autechre style smearatta as Syndrone, introducing the world to his private party music under the Machine Drum alias, releasing various tracks under sillier names on internet comps, refusing to swim with his brother in the Atlantic ocean, and finally working it all out between the cracks of glitch and nigh on to accessible melody as T. Stewart. He's dropping 3 albums this years and also playing with Orlando's kindest post-rockers and Funbalaya luminaries Gestalt. That's a lot for nothing and we even have a DJ. Show starts at 9 p.m. at The Peacock Room 1321 Mills Ave. Before Virginia next to Tony's Deli. Also show up July 4th for Carpark Records' Animal Collective andOgurusu Norihide brought to you by Polygon Panties. It's also at The Peacock Room and comes with the stigmata of a $3.00 Cover.
