Component News 6/03 As always, ton's going on @ component HQ. First off, we've just released the uber-aggressive panacea/gridlock 12" : Com-111 represents Component Records first foray into the world of vinyl. For such a momentous occasion we wanted to do it right! We picked two of our favorite artists Panacea and Gridlock and let them go wild. Panacea drops it hard and dark with his soon to be hit "When Panacea Strikes" harkening back to the days of Low Profile Darkness. Not to be outdone, Gridlock pulls out all the stops and creates an unrelenting monster of a darkstep track "Bring Out Your Dead". A: Panacea-"When Panacea Strikes B: Gridlock-"Bring Out Your Dead The 12" is going to be available through ant-zen,ad noiseam, metropolis, skimo, systemic audio, frozen empire media, wrecked, and the via component website Also on the horizon are: Somatic Responses: Adverts 2CD Somatic Responses: Spooky Pen 12"(with remixes by Proem, Venetian Snares) Gys-Art D'Echo (debut album from boston's tech-dub master with remixes by Substance, Twine and Phil Western)-In collaboration with zer0 g sounds We are opening up a Vancouver office: Component Records is opening an associated office in the Vancouver, BC area which will handle PR, Bookings, and other assorted duties for Component Records. We feel this will allow Component to run more efficiently and help raise the profile of the label. More details to follow. Automated Ordering: To simplify the ordering process, we've added a paypal cart to our website for automated ordering. This will help to make the ordering process easier and more pleasant for all :) Demos: We are always looking for new and exciting artists(or brilliant ones we don't know about!). If you think that your material may be on the component wavelength, demos can sent to: Component Records Attn: Demos Box 783 Somers, CT 06071 Rob! ::::::Component Records::::::: Box 783, Somers, Ct 06071 www.componentrecords.com --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
