Terrible 2's !
With the Grace of God, and a healthy ecconomic climate, u.t.r.// is
celebrating 2 years of a random thought process. From our humble beginnings
at Fuse in North Beach, to 26Mix in the Mission, not to mention the
one-offs, u.t.r.// has been the longest running experimental electronic and
acoustic music event in San Francisco.
U.T.R.// has hosted:
Jonah Sharp, O.S.T. ,Broker/Dealer, Richard Devine, Taylor Deupree, Gold
Chians, Todd Sines, Sagan, Kit Clayton, Safety Scissor, Sutekh, Sote and a
multitude of Bay Area improvisational musicians, to name a SMALL fraction of
all of the artists who have graced our little show. Our goal in the future
is to continue to bring you new art activities, starting with this one:

Abstract Weird-Tempo and Experimental Pop Musique with an electro twist.
Come early, as the night is usually packed out with super models and jet
setters of the IDM world........
SPECIAL GUEST May 7th, DJ "Clarity""
Clarity began spinning in the North Bay at the age of 19. Realizing her true
love for techno in 1998 she quickly swept across rave scene dropping as hard
and heavy as she could get away with. Playing at parties like Harmony,
Children of the Sun, Happy Kids, and Flower Shop she definitely had wide
variety of music lovers surrounding her and with the support of many of
those promoters she was able to play out at a lot of parties before having
any DJ recordings out. With a high demand for trance and house, being a
techno DJ in the community was a challenge.
