does anyone know about some sort of software that can morph one sample into another. like you can have software that changes one picture into another in a smooth way. is this possible with a sample. or, does anyone know a technique to achieve something like this? cheers --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

no, not straight mixing, but thanks what i mean, is that if i took a sample of say a lion roaring and wanted it to morph into a totally different sound like er, a fire engine sample. like with morphing pictures, the program pics out certain points in the samples that are similar and is able to change one sound into another seamlessly by doing many things at the same time such as crossfading, variable beat matching and eq and other effect adjustments, so that one sound changes into another without you noticing it.
