I recently relocated to Copenhagen, where I'll be staying for about a year. So, my question is, what the hell is there to do here? Any information about upcoming events (I heard a free Monolake show, but I need the details), good clubs, interesting spots... Basically any information on the city. If it's not music related feel free to reply off list. So far I've been finding it pretty hard to get info from the papers in the city, as I don't speak danish (yet). Also, any relevant links? Two festivals in Norway and Norway should be strange enough: Safe-as-Milk festival in July (I think). Its in an old boat house in the fishing village of Haugesund. (www.safe-as-milk.org). Last year foreigners got in for free!!! Probably this year as well, I dont know. Some confirmed names: eg. Hrvatski. Pilota/ Trollofonen in Bergen, Norway in May. Lots of concerts, both in a club and in a moving electric bus. Lots of Mego-stuff ++.(www.pilota.fm)

Thanks for all the recommendations. Still looking through them all. The safe-as-milk one sounds really interesting but the site is being redesigned and has no info at the moment. I'll maybe hold out to find out the line-up for that. the beginnings of the lineup for dour festival (belgium) are just announced..... www.dourfestival.be i went a few years back (err 4 i think) and it was HOT, nearly died in the heat.. nice festival though, and cheap to get in too, or it used to be...
