2 things: firstly in my atp mini round up i forgot to mention Public Enemy, who blew my mind, and the previously discussed Disjecta, who shocked me by being entirely beatless (MArk Clifford seems to have made a whole career thus far out of heavy beats) and at the same time absolutely amzing; beautiful, fractured guitar ambience. also the new Sky Tucker record on Record Camp is really good, fairly traditional IDM but realised in the very best shiny fashion. "Miami Nitez" is killer electro, too saying that maybe im just being nice because they (record camp) were nice about us on the list recently..... :) ______________________________________________________________________ thevillageorchestra@hotmail.com Marcia Blaine Industries : http://marciablaine.cjb.net Out Now: "Marcia Blaine School For Girls EP" re-press(Dalriada 12") "Minraud"("Red Zero Seven" cd, Struktur) "Pine Trees Make Golden Rules"(Stuff Records01 comp.12") Forthcoming:"Pink Sticks / We" (Static Caravan 7") "Routed to the Spot" ("I Ambient" cd ,Law and Auder) -----BEGIN GEEK CODE BLOCK----- Version: 3.1 GP d-- S-:+ a-- C+ U--- L- E-- W++ N w M-- PS+ PE- Y+ t--- R tv++ b++++ D++ e++ h--- r++ y+ ------END GEEK CODE BLOCK------ _________________________________________________________________ Hotmail messages direct to your mobile phone http://www.msn.co.uk/mobile --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

Disjecta was pretty shocking alright. Had me checking the schedule a couple of times just to make sure it was acutally him up there. Hey, Thanks for the compliments on Sky's release. It's been getting a lot of attention of that sort, I think it's definitely top quality idm/electro that is reminiscent of the old days of the genre while looking straight ahead. Miami Nitez is my favorite one on there too, it's like a miami strip club up in there. We will be releasing a full length by Sky at the end of summer. Adesh http://www.recordcamp.com PS: speaking of that old school sound, definitely check out M3rck's latest offerings, the Ensi and Esem cds are superb, it's the typer of idm that made me get into this stuff in the first place. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
