Crazy question for you all... ...I was watching my new favorite television show on the G4 network called "Starcade" and saw that one of the departing prizes was a portable record player called a "Mr. Disc" or "Mister Disc" (not sure which one). Anyway, the premise of the show is that there are tons of arcade games on this soundstage and each contestant has like 1 minute to play a game and the nthe opponent plays - high scores are tallied and the winner of the whole enchilada scores a brand-spankin'-new Burgertime arcade (or something of that nature). At any rate, this looks like the perfect weapon for crate digging and I A) wanted to solicit any information that list members may have on this device B) wanted to see if anyone has one to sell if it is worthwhile C) wanted to just let everyone in on this dream come true I watched the end of the show to see when it was on and it stated 1983 as the date, so this machinery is pretty old and, I assume, difficult to find. Any info.? At the very least, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this show. Just incredible slacks and tight Izod polos on this thing is nothing else. Kickin' it back to the golden era, JS _________________________________________________________________ Help STOP SPAM with the new MSN 8 and get 2 months FREE* http://join.msn.com/?page=features/junkmail --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
