yup. think the SE/30 isn't good for more than a n old-school sequencer or a doorstop ? you haven't
seen some of our installations :)

btw- starting in 1997, www.se30.com was hosted on an SE/30 running OpenBSD, apache, majordomo,
IMAP4, SMTP, POP3, BIND, FTPD, and HXD. It had 128MB of RAM, a 4GB internal and 6 x 36GB 10k RPM
external SCSI hard drives. it had over 120 active user accounts and funneled approx 40GB of data/mo
through it. then the dot-bomb required me closing down my colocation facilities :( I hope to
resurect it sometime in the not so distant future. until then i'll be working on my Connect-4
Wall-O-Mac's (and later Tetris - blinkin' lights and brown university have nothin' on me ! ;)
-=dave
ps- we are always looking for machine donations. if you have an SE/30 compact mac you're willing to
donate to the video wall project please contact me. thx !
