"Being" was a guy called Dave Paton, from Edinburgh. He used to be my flat mate. We used to DJ at an ambient club called "The Blue Room" where, amongst others, Andrew Weatherall came to play. I gave Mr W. a tape of Being [who was undergoing a paranoia fit and wouldn't come and meet him] and the rest is, as they say, history. There are a few 12"s out on the Emissions label as well as the double album. He's not released anything since then AFAIK, but then I've lost contact with him [and he owes my brother money if anyone knows how to find him].
