yeah, its totally silly but i kinda love License to
drive. the coreys are two of my faves, really, you
can't beat the lost boys! even though schumacher never
actually made a film as well after that, maybe 8mm
which was tripe but watchable. Actually the original,
Hardcore, w/g.c.scott and paul schrader is pretty damn
good, as is most of schrader's work. SOmetimes it
seems a good idea to shield yourself from bad art, but
it can be occasionally inspirational.
Speaking of tripe has anyone here ever eaten the
stuff? it looks horrible, and that scene from Buffalo
66 where billy maneuvers ricci's vegetarian character
into eating a huge plate of it just completely smashes
faces!!
which reminds me of how good punch-drunk love is, and
its back at the 1$ theatre!!!
