Damn this is boring, where is the real idm list where people talk about their max/msp patches and routing tekneeks along with icube sensor installations. the topics on here are on such a small spectrum . Does anybody even produce in here? or just spend their time on typing brainless replies about mp3s. Anyways i am still trying to figure out these tcpip commands for auto illustrator that are controlled with max/msp anybody have any luck with this stuff? Or too busy gossiping about mira and plone. btw the best thing on this list so far was "Oh, yeah, and eat a bag of dicks, cretin." at least i got a kick out of that! _k ========================== www.djkero.com < -------------------------- www.detroitunderground.net ;[ -------------------------- ' www.shitkatapult.com -------------------------- www.bpitchcontrol.com / -------------------------- '" www.livewirerecords.net -------------------------- ; ^ www.kerologistics.com -------------------------- www.lowres.com -------------------------- www.satantechno.com , ========================== icq: 101424589 Fon: 313-737-6661 --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

The topics you're covering have to do with IDM production (well, I think...). If you'd like to discuss them, might I suggest either the idm-making list (the one I posted about earlier today), or the music-bar at ampfea (where they discuss all matter of esoteric crap, along with what teas are good and other food inquiries (music/bar, you know)). From my last 6 years on the list, I've understood the list to be about IDM in general, not a specific thing. If that involves IDM MP3's today, so be it. Of course, the in vogue thing for the past few years has been for artists to unsubscribe from the idm-list as soon as they start actually producing idm-albums, for whatever reasons. Funny thing, that... derek ------- eggytoast.com ------- coming soon: eggtastic.com --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

You mean you actually once had real, live, artists in here? Famous ones? Cooooo... I'm starting to get the feeling of the intro to "Last of the Great 20th Century Composers" by Princess Superstar "How do do you explain this 'music'?" "I have no fucking idea...". Shit, I wish I had some new music to listen to here. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

yeah big ups kero, i'm in agreement. this list is more boring than the last 10 releases on warp records combined. and still you jokers talk about boreds of canaduh like they ain't sucked since the last century. the problem is no good music is produced under the "idm" moniker anymore -- not that anybody would care to affiliate their musical projects with such a dumb genre name. what happened to cool fucking genre classifications like DARK STEP. why the fuck can't people come up with names like that anymore? When i heard the term TECH-STEP i was like SHIT NIGGA I GOT TO LEARN HOW TO MAKE THAT, i didn't even know what the fuck it was. all motherfuckers talk about is music piracy and why it's [[good|bad]] or stupid sexist boring shit like "can anybody tell me who's a hot looking female idm producer so i can chat her up" or how much proem sounds like they ripped off funkstorung ripped off autechre ripped of curtis roads ... jesus idm sux, it's over, move on, find something new to talk about... somebody challenge me here. prove me wrong, who's producing interesting music these days that could be discussed on this list? i'll give you a few names that your jizzowls should be flapping about and then i'll go back to lurking for a few more months. * farben/jan/gramm - this nigga can keep me interested for months * schneider tm - fuckin pop goes the weazel "reality check" is the song of the decade * the orb - who knew these mothers were back and on fucking kompakt no less * t.raumschmiere - kero knows what i'm talking about * the postal service - only heard one track "such great heights" but it's ON * the streets - everybody either loves it or hates it. discuss. * atropa/fred garvin/penisplusvagina - who IS this nigga * gold chains - fuck what you heard * atom heart et al * blechdoms * vlad delay i gotta shout out to my family before the nyquil hits full on - atropa/string theory/touchmaster INF/quantazelle/megafuxx also to pulseprogramming/magas/singlemindedpros - chicago in effect 03 peace goodnight zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz -asterprox
