well i'll admit not having a credit card or debt card would make things more difficult, but not impossible. there are usually many other ways to pay. but i'm curious about how the taxation works if you, for example, were to mail order from some shop in the UK ? and why you have to go to customs ? can't you have a package delivered to your home ? john

The taxes are fucking huge, it will become too expensive. They set high taxes so "people will support the local buisnesses". Also you have to spend a day travelling to the customs to get a package. Top of all that, it requires a credit card. -- ask/dwave --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

Unless the mail order company set up the package as a gift i have to pick up the package at the customs, wait for hours in line, fill out lots of stupid forms and pay 24% of the packages value. warp records and other commercial releases are available in shops here, though. lots of people importing psytrance, techno, house, ambient etc, too. But none that imports what i want (merck, defocus, neo ouija, etc), as long as im probably the only one here that wants to buy this, it probably wont be available either :) -- ask/dwave --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
