Not exactly IDM but can anyone direct me to an encoded version of the Johnny Cash video for "Hurt." Very powerful video- I've only seen it once and I really want to have it. Any MPEG or .avi or whatever. I can't believe how different that song becomes when The Man in Black sings it. The video's director has it available on his website as a 32 meg QuickTime file: http://www.markromanek.com/video/14.html I agree that it's pretty amazing. I fear that Johnny won't be with us much longer, but at least he's adding to his legacy right up to his final days. This may be no help at all. Last night I was hanging with a bunch of friends, and somebody mentioned Sweden (one of the friends is from there). "Thank God for Sweden." "And Lukas Moodysson" I responded. The gal from Sweden asked if I had seen Together (aka Tillsammans). We both loved it. It was awesome. Made up for a lot of other things that happened yesterday. Long story short, she suggested I download the movie (she says a lot of foreign movies are on here) from "DC Plus Plus". Never heard of it before. Wow. Thanks for the link. I had forgotten about how Mark Romanek is one of the most amazing music videos directors ever. The Cash video is pretty great. It really gives the song a different dimension or meaning altogether. Anyway, I was poking through those music videos and it occurred to me... couldn't that Madonna song "Bedtime Story" totally be a Debut-era Bjork song? She should cover it.
