This list is so fun- it's funny to me how "hot threads" seem to reappear in a cyclical fashion i.e. too much spam and non-IDM stuff, calling our music "intelligent" is elitist, etc., etc. It's also funny how this plays out in real time because, on the one hand, many people cry out that IDM is too elitist and that the "intelligent" aspect is so debatable but on the other hand, new people to the list get smacked with an 8th grade title (newbie) and get chided when they try to "run with the boys." By the way, I'm not a newbie even though I've been Hime-spanked before as being one (a lurker since 1998). So, whenever the threads like "List Suggestions-- Please Read" come up, I always get a chuckle because it's the great IDM drama coming full circle. I love this list the way it is- warts and all. I dare anyone to match a resource this vast for all things electronic and entertaining personalities. Parsing it, re-classifying it, doing anything to it would rob it of its color. Anyway, that's what I think. Continue on.... Octo __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
