I had my wallet stolen a year ago and had to cancel the credit card
under whicj i set up my Paypal account. Since I have changed the bill to
card on my account my account has been restricted and I am unable to
send or receive funds. In order to remedy this, they require various
tasks....faxing them my id etc...not worth the hassle /time. Too bad,
was convenient to when I had the option.

That anti-Paypal site is stupid.
Paypal are efficient. Not perfect, but one can
have problems in a B+M bank or with CC companies
just as readily and for no apparent reason.
Ever try to do a wire transfer? Sometimes
it's a breeze; more-often-than-not, it is a pain-in-the-ass,
requiring waiting in line at a stuffy bank, then another 5 to 25 minutes
to execute the order, which probably won't go through the first time
for some arcane reason, and you'll have to go back into the bank and
try again.
Paypal is a snap. Never had a problem with it. Click, type, click,
type,
and move on: payment sent. Receiving a payment is even easier.
Oh, they take a fee: big deal: wire transfer fees are much higher.
Paypal is 'preferred'. =)
