From the Bi-Wire mailing list............. An essential fixture in the Breakin' arsenal. Parrish's undesputed classic is given the rework by the most qualified 'tronic mechanics around. DMX Krew gives the ole school flavour with a well rounded electro killer keeping the vocal. Mike Dred gives an interesting take, with a spangled halfspeed/double speed wonder. Some of the most interesting programming for a long time, lilting drum n electro with the original's retro flavour. Definate highlight. The one like Phil Klein' Bass Junkie brings the bass terror to the party for the flip side. Most essential and fresh of 12"s. Anyone got this? * *

I played the DMX Krew version on my radio show this past Monday, if you want to hear it. It's mixed out of "Goin' Back to Cali" at about 125 minutes into this stream: http://archive.msoe.edu/playlists/56k/Mon-Feb-10-2003-210201.m3u JG --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
