Hello all, IMO copyrights are destroying the collective health of the music we all love. Below is a quoted statement from a good friend of mine's website (www.soulpsychadelicide.com - free experimental elec.music): "-there is no copy protection on our music, so you may duplicate, sample, broadcast, etc....at your own will. copyrights only protect financial gain. music is not to be owned, not even by the artist creating it. once a cd is released, it's like the the release of air from our lungs. it's out there for others to take in, breath, recycle, and re-contribute to the world. copyrights were supposedly created to thwart thieves from capitalizing on other's work. this may have been true 50 years ago. but now, we believe, copyrites cause more harm than good by supporting the current "me me me" attitude of our humans. in addition to that, they allow a replacement of a "make art because my soul requires it" mentality with an "i can make money by getting people to buy my product." we say, let the music be free. if it's free, and we lose, we will be rewarded double in the afterlife. but if we charge money for it, then we are not trying hard enough to make the world better." --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

Hi, Does anyone know where Adi Newton, from Clock DVA, The Anti-Group and T.A.G.C., went? I don't think I have seen/heard him mentioned much since 1998 or so. /Petter ------------------ www.fatbankroll.nu ------------------ __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
