qpe > zineparty > malfunction
this week it's time for a downtempo + hiphop live set from qpe. some of you
may have heard QPE's tracks from his "boolean logic" release on
theAgriculture... this time the music is live, with some new never before
heard tunes, worked out on ibook + effects.
"qpe coaxes a deeper blend of moody hip-hop from his machines..." - xlr8r
+ this week it's the release party for pie #1, nyc zine o electronic music +
other strange and friendly things. pie is an actual print zine, compiled by
a host of contributors, and lovingly edited and pieced together by aaron
spectre, scissors, tape, and photocopy style. we'll have copies for all
tonight @ openair. opiatenyc.com/pie for the scans, starting tomorrow.
also this week we'd like to welcome dj alex malfunction, bringing his
favorite idm + ambient plastic rotating discs of various sorts.
