Hey folks, If you haven't checked it out already, Esem's upcoming (and highly anticipated) debut full-length for Merck will be out in March, called 'Serial Human'. Sound-clips are at the Merck site, www.m3rck.net/html/discog/014.html. From the sounds of it, George delves into a more subdued Skam-like sound-escape with rugged beats, sharp melodies with a somewhat darker approach to his "sound" compared to 'Enveloped' (Defocus). Hi folks, Slightly off topic but i thought it may appeal to some people on this list as it did enough to me to make me get the equipment required to make them.. :) I've been playing around with said new equipment and made a reasonable collection of samples that i've put online... the page is at http://jimtreats.crosswinds.net/MyTreats/Binaural/index.htm Help yourself.. :) most are in MPC format, full explanations on the page.. its easy to play them.. some are available in MP3 so you can easily see if they interest you... Finally.. how can i subscribe to ambient@hyperreal.org... I love ambient music... these recordings are probably even more relevant to them... nice field recordings ideas.. just no music over the top :) Laters, comments appreciated :) Jim --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
