The creative use of the vocal sample is something that has nearly died
through bland selections in mainstream hip-hop. Infoslut will have none of
that, and delights here with 5 tracks that you can actually sing along to!
This is the first new Infoslut we've heard in quite some time, and the East
Coast net.art all-star obviously has been only getting more amazing.

The newest friends of the Subco family, Mr. Mixel Pixel bring a grooved-out
sound so fresh that you'll be surprised it hasn't graced these storied
vaults before. Mr. Mixel Pixel have graced the world with one amazing
full-length album that evoked a less goofy Ween with more fun-sounding
instuments. These tracks are highly enjoyable excursions that we hear may
see a CD-R release with bonus tracks. We'd surely be down!

Sulfuric Acid. Nasty moods. Birth. And of course, Nirvana. Just a few things
evoked by the title of the first new Books on Tape MP# ep in ages. Books has
been busy recording a full-length for Deathbomb Arc, a 3: for Piehead and a
10" blue vinyl for No Type, but as a long-time believer in the benefits of
the mp3 philosophy, Books puts his money where his mouth is here with three
new tracks that may be as tight as anything on the physical releases.
