IM conversation between some friends of mine.I find the girl's perspective funny, and remarkably perceptive to the "scene." He's a 4th year BFA candidate in painting who dabbles in music production, she's a 30 something professional who is known to dip her toe into the world of electronic music. Anyway, I thought some of you might relate to this. Leslie Girl says: Does a group of fans chanting your name one at a time work for you? Girl says: Or does it have to be all together? Girl says: Cause sleeping around a lot won't get you the latter, I don't think. Boy says: all together, with fist pumping actioni! Girl says: Also, I don't think the art world is going to get you that. Girl says: Maybe music. Boy says: i've gotta reach international playboy /dj stus. Boy says: status... Girl says: But if you do electronic music, most of your fans will be balding guys in retro t-shirts.

Hi all, First new tracks on the web for a long time - three edits from a recent live performance. All in glorious lofi 64kbit, 22.050kHz, Stereo mp3. The tracks are (I feel) a return to form - they also mark a new working practice which allows me to perform the tracks live with a great deal of freedom, and a small amount of equipment (just a sampler, mixer, and 2 FX units). Any feedback would be much appreciated... http://www.namke.com/ - choose 'audio' tab cheers, john.. http://www.namke.com/
