Telefon Tel Aviv is back with their contribution to the Immediate Action RED series. The EP features two tracks from TTA, including their first vocal composition, "Sound in a Dark Room," a slow, sultry burner featuring vocalist Lindsay Anderson. The EP also includes a track from the original demo TTA sent to Hefty, as well as two remixes from "Fahrenheit Fair Enough" by Slicker and Prefuse 73. Lots of soul here! IA #8 is available on both vinyl and CD formats. The vinyl format is a one time pressing of 2000. Each copy is presented in a hand-printed, silk screened sleeve. Keeping things in the Hefty family, the artwork was provided by Broken Wrist Project member, Kevin Christy. Available for pre-order now at https://www.heftyrecords.com/shopping For the collectors!!! In addition to IA #8, we are offering a white label version of the release, initialed and numbered by the band. It is limited to only 150 copies. It comes in a white sleeve with hub labels inked by Telefon Tel Aviv. Also released last week was IA #7 (Dublab Presents: Summer Selections), which compiles selections for the recent Dublab CD, "Summer", now on vinyl for the first time. The 12" features tracks by Prefuse 73, Cody ChesnuTT, Burnt Friedman and Beneath Autumn Sky. Limited to 1500. Also in silk screened sleeves. Other news: We are now carrying T-shirts from Telefon Tel Aviv and Slicker in the online store. You will find one original TTA design and two Slicker designs created by Graphic Havoc. We'll have the latest releases from the Matthew Herbert family of Accidental labels in the online store next week, including the latest from Soft Pink Truth and Max DeWardener. Telefon Tel Aviv's live performance from Dublab's bi-monthly event @ Temple Bar in Los Angeles is featured in the November issue of URB. Props to Andrew Asch for coining "R&B reconstructionists".
