Just picked up nautilis' _are you and axolotl_ the other day. Im surprised i dont see more people talking about him. This is the first release by a new artist in 2 years that ive picked up and havent been bored with in 5 listens. (takes me back to the good ol days, heh heh) great attention to melody, structure and detail.. only criticism is i dont really agree with some of his choices for dialogue samples and mcs, but otherwise A+ material. go out and buy it

Nautilus is the SHIT. Honestly one of my favourite records of the last year.

Exactly, ``Blix'' - ``I have the sword... lala'' that is sort of funny, but it has something lame. But ``polyphonix tronic scapegoat'' erm... Hey, and something else, I just can't figure out where the sample in the beginning from ``Professor Glick'' come from. It's some movie I've seen, but I just can't recall. Anyone?

Indeed, be sure to also check out ``The breaks vol. 1'' and ``The breaks vol. 2'' by the same artist. ``rachesta'' is definatly worth it's money. check out http://www.nautilus.net/ -- http://defekt.nl/ --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

Okey, I was being a bit shabby here, It's either the 11Sketches CD'' which contains all tracks, or ``The breaks vol. 1'' 12". Volume 2 is not released (yet?). Also, ``rachesta'' should be ``Rochestra''. That would be Julien Donkey Boy (amazing film), there's another sample from it at the end of Polyphonix Tronic Scapegoat - the bit with Werner Herzog spraying the hose on his son - 'stop that shivering, be a man!'... ...skism --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

Clarify: Many people actually said he was great, awesome, etc. Dallas audience (myself included) thought he was boring as hell. He later owned up somewhere (Planet Mu site?) that he sucked that show, something about laptop only, tired from a plane, blah blah blah. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
