This auction is for a long out of print MARKANT ? M-07 original 12? from
Markant Records dated 1998. The record is in mint condition and is limited
to only 200 copies worldwide! It also comes in a golden Markant jacket. I do
not believe you will find another copy in as excellent of shape as this has
been in storage for all these years. The previous offerings by Carsten
Endrass from deep Bavaria, became maybe the most sought after and talked
about items in Germany this year. Superbly deep, melancholic electronic
listening, traces of Autechre to be found, with some Detroit touch as well.
For people into Skam stuff (if comparable to anything). The first actual
copies received of recordings by this somewhat daunting artist/song
title/releasing hub currently enjoying a daily popularity appraisal via
innovative marketing techniques unleashed onto thousands of unsuspecting
internet-list-members. Each Markant 'edition' comes in a freshly minted
non-pantone colour sleeve denoting volume number (but no song titles or
biographical/geographical information) as a nail-thick Zovody-pressed vinyl
LP, whose grooves reveal an odd assortment of just-post Artificial
Intelligence (around January 1993) melancholy with trademark analogues and
the sort of blip-manufacture simply not available in a pre-Autechre
cavern-world. Really great stuff if occasional melody/ traceable harmonic
content doesn't throw you asunder.
