I was in Los Angeles a while back and caught Jasper. Was disappointed that the promoters asked him to play "slower"...they thought los angeles couldn't handle much over 130 bpm. Sad. Why book someone if you're not going to let them play what they want? Are los angeles crowds really scared of BPMS? Or is it closeminded promoters who won't take a chance and go to ....whoooshhhh....150 MY GOD! ;) biatch _________________________________________________________________ Get faster connections?-- switch to?MSN Internet Access! http://resourcecenter.msn.com/access/plans/default.asp --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

Jasper is really entertaining when he goes all out. < Why book someone if you're not going to let them play what they want? > I agree. I remember when Claire from Defocus was in LA she played Photek's "Mine To Give", and the promoter sent someone up to complain. Geez, give the dj a little elbow room...everything she played was good. The crowd was dancing. < Are los angeles crowds really scared of BPMS? > I don't know? It's odd to me that when Green Galactic brought out Claude Young, Shake, and Dan Bell, that there wasn't a good turnout. I thought more people would come out to see Claude Young. <Or is it closeminded promoters who won't take a chance and go to ....whoooshhhh....150 MY GOD! > You got me... __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
