I think IDM follows the same lines as these earlier industrial artists (and
the people like Steve Reich, LaMonte Young, Edgar Varese, etc, before them)
in that it is open-minded, innovative, explorative, etc, and doesn't fall
play (well except for bad IDM) to cliché and conformist structure....
Before that I listened to metal :D
